Long Man reviewed in the Cleveland Plain Dealer
"It is the summer of 1936, and the water is rising around the town of Yuneetah, Tenn. The Tennessee Valley Authority has dammed the Long Man River to fill a reservoir for hydroelectric power.
The TVA aims to reinvigorate and modernize the Depression-ravaged region, and most residents have reluctantly accepted buyouts. They’ve scattered, abandoning land their families have owned for generations."
